I am not sure if the name, but this is one of my crown jewels of my growing Quadron Collection. I would appreciate any help in filling in any of the blanks about this watch

Other info : While presumably a low production model (I've only ever spotted two of them in the wild), there are at least three dial variations. The example in the Master Book shows what appears to be a two-tone silver dial. The two I've owned had this black dial, and yet another black dial with a small round hour/minute chapter and a large seconds display.

Other info : Named after Margaret Gruen's recently-acquired husband, Jacob J. Longacre, who went on to have an illustrious career as a pioineering plastic surgeon. Retailed for $100 in 1931. Also offered in "coin [yellow] gold" and with radium dial.

Other info : Cal.355 is the non-curved version of the 311 Curvex movement and shares many parts. It was also introduced in 1935. As the movement wasn't produced very long, examples with this movement are not seen frequently.

Other info : This example has the beautifully engraved gilded "Precision EXTRA" version of Cal. 119. Although in execution the movement resembles the famous 50th Anniversary VeriThin pocket watch caliber there is no evidence that these engraved Quadrons were also produced to celebrate that occasion.
Case and dial equal the Quadron 3 & 4 however these are respectively Green and White Gold. One possibility is that it is actually the Quadron 5. Quadron 5 is missing from the Quadron listing in Shawkey's "A Collector's Guide", but could be the Yellow Gold version.

Another interesting detail on the movement is that the caliber number is milled out where you normally find it on the pillar plate (between barrel bridge and center bridge). Could this mean a Cal.117 or 123 was used as a base to create this special 119?

The caliber 98

The caliber 98 is a 15 or 17-jewel movement and is 9-3/4 ligne or 21.99mm in diameter (1926 Standardized Parts, page 22). According to the later Material Catalog 539 two other variants exist, caliber 99 with 15-jewels but different setting gear and caliber 997 a 17-jewel variant of this movement. This later information shows caliber 98 only as a 15-jewel implying the 17-jewel variant changed to caliber 997 at some point. Production start was about 1915.
