The really cool part is that they shared pictures, stories and other information. Adin helped start a ski club here in Colorado that is still going strong, for example. They provided some clarity on several things that didn't make sense. They also answered how he got the nick-name "Doc": It was from his childhood.

Their thoughts on the watch are that it was given to Faith's half brother by Adin and before Adin's death. He was several years older and died about 15 years ago. Their thought is it was sold via his estate, which jives with the ebay seller's claim from when I bought it. There are not many photos that survived, but there were a few from the war. I added another one to the blog post I linked above.


All I know is based on hard work & writing by others. I can only aspire to augment this body of knowledge. If I am wrong it is because of my own failings. -me
