Recently, our forum came under what seems to have been a coordinated cyber attack, in the form of a type of DNS and/or phishing attack. Happily, our forum is hosted on a server that is secure and also comes with tools to see the attack pattern and take actions. Generally, these types of attacks are after personal or financial information of subscribers. To our knowledge, nothing was compromised. A huge shout out to Jenneke for her efforts to thwart and then monitor the situation. Things are secure and operating smoothly now. Remember to not use the same passwords across platforms nor have your email as a log in for important sites, like bank accounts. https://www.security.org/digital-safety/
It is possible that the measures taken to stop this attack may have also limited/blocked legitimate traffic to our site. If you see anything strange here, please reach out or comment below.
